ABOUT THE CLIENT

Jtekt

PROJECT OVERVIEW

We supported the customer in setting up its digital factory, from upstream strategic thinking to recruitment and implementation of the DevOps DevSecOps and DataOps organization, right through to operational implementation in the form of the development of a business application.

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES

Organizational culture: Cultural change within the organization is often one of the biggest challenges. Teams can be resistant to change and have difficulty adapting to a more agile, technology-driven approach.

Human resources: Recruiting and retaining skilled digital talent is difficult, as demand for technology professionals is high. Finding the right skills and keeping them was a challenge.

Change management: The transition to a digital factory can disrupt existing processes, and requires effective change management to ensure that teams adapt to the new ways of working.

THE SOLUTION

Establishing a clear vision: We defined a clear vision of what the customer wanted to achieve with the digital factory, focusing on creating value for the company. This vision was communicated throughout the organization.

Awareness-raising and training: We convinced the customer to invest in awareness-raising and training for its staff, to prepare them for the cultural and technical changes associated with the digital factory. We encouraged the implementation of a continuous learning program in collaboration with the human resources department.

Strategic recruitment: In order to find talent with the digital skills needed to form a strong team within the digital factory, we encouraged the client to launch a collaboration with universities and partners to identify new talent.

Change management: We developed a robust change management plan to help teams adapt to new ways of working and embrace the digital culture. Appropriate technologies and tools: We chose the technologies and tools best suited to the customer’s needs (scalable and compatible with other systems).
Governance: Established effective governance to oversee the activities of the digital factory, including clear decision-making processes and project prioritization.
Internal collaboration: We worked on a new process to foster close collaboration between the digital factory and other departments within the company. We have established open communication channels to facilitate coordination.
