Vestas

In partnership with the Singulaire company, we developed a tool for Vestas to plan the flight schedules of drones equipped with HD cameras, and to configure wind turbine sites for inspection. Following drone inspection, an artificial intelligence algorithm identifies images with real defects, places them in an automatically generated inspection report and creates graphs of criticality levels by site, by turbine and even by turbine blade on a geographic information system.

Configuring the sites, arranging the turbines from a Google map and measuring the number of turbines, as well as rendering the image of the turbine blade in 3D were all technical challenges.

The solution includes several parameters that revolutionize the maintenance of renewable energy equipment.
