PROJECT OVERVIEW
OCP Solutions is a subsidiary of the OCP group which works on group projects. We worked on the design of a software program to record days of intervention, calculate the total cost of a project, evaluate the margin, generate the corresponding invoices, etc.
TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
Achieving a degree of standardization, with a few exceptions
User adoption is no easy matter either, as acceptance and use of the new system by team members involves resistance at first, especially when manual processes were already in place. Effective communication and training are essential.
THE SOLUTION
The key is in the configuration module before the operational module. Several configuration modules are needed to ensure full functionality and flexible, user-friendly operation.
Project Management :
Allows you to create and configure projects, adding details such as project name, customer, start and end date, etc.
User settings:
Makes it easy to add and manage team members, with information such as name, role, hourly rates, etc.
Cost Structure :
Allows you to define the project’s cost structure, including fixed costs, variable costs, overheads, etc.
Dynamic Dashboading is also necessary, as the ultimate goal is to manage projects efficiently.
