PROJECT OVERVIEW
Creation of a mobile application for farmers in the field of fertilizers to offer various modules and functionalities to meet the specific needs of target users:
Personalized Recommendations:
Recommendation system based on crop types, soil conditions, and other factors specific to each farmer.
Dosage Calculator:
Tool enabling farmers to calculate the amount of fertilizer needed based on cultivated area, crop type and specific needs.
TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
Several challenges:
Crop diversity:
Farmers grow a wide variety of crops. Adapting the application to meet the specific needs of each type of crop was complex.
Limited Internet connectivity:
In some farming regions, Internet connectivity can be limited. We designed the application to work reliably even in unstable network conditions.
Accessibility and Language:
The application must be accessible to users in different regions, including those who may not be comfortable with technology. Support for several languages was necessary.
User education:
As some farmers are not familiar with using mobile applications, the app had to be user-friendly and intuitive, so we worked hard on the ergonomic aspect.
THE SOLUTION

We’ve designed an intuitive user interface that makes it easy for farmers to select their crop type. We have also included a crop search feature to simplify navigation.
Limited Internet connectivity:
We designed the application to work offline as much as possible. We’ve allowed users to download essential data when they have a connection, then use it offline.

We offered a multilingual experience to reach a wider audience.
